Happy late everythings! Birthdays, Thanksgivings, etc.

In the past couple of weeks, I've finished Nina's purse which turned out pretty decent, made myself a clutch which is a smidge more decent, and a tee-shirt that is decently wearable. I think I'm getting better at crappily handsewing things without patterns. Never used a pattern and probably never will! Not my style.

Can't wait until Nina gets home. Time for f-u-n. Also, she should be home since I've been seeing her friends around town everywhere. That, and I miss her. AND, THE NOUN needs to get to business.

I want to make things for people. LET ME KNOW IF you want a new tote bag, or tee shirt, or coin purse, or notebook, or somethin'. A girl can only make so many purses for herself.

God, I remember when all I did was sit around and listen to Pinkerton. HEY LET'S DO THAT AGAIN.

HEY LET'S NOT BE HEARTLESS CONSUMERS AND CAUSE PEOPLE TO DIE. fuck you, walmart shoppers.

HELL YEAH.
HIGH FIVE FOR OBAMA.
I almost downloaded these Obamabats and tried to do something with them. How awesome are these?

That's pretty much the highlight of the week, of a lot of people's week, I assume. I'm a little surprised, though not sure why, at how this election has brought out the nasty in everyone. Suddenly people that knew each other before, and maybe once were friends, are now debating out the demons, conservatives vs. liberals. Yeah, I'm on one side (be it the one that triumphed) but why does it have to be that way? How can people dare say it's the apocalypse? Tell me one thing, is it because of race or political party?

How about we all just move on. I'm sure we can all agree that something needs to change, let's do it together. I'm sounding ridiculous, I won't even go into propositions.

So, I'm usually pretty early to get ready for Christmas. You may have received my cards last year before it even became December. This year is no different, and unfortunately, I might not even be wrapping presents in the month of December because I've already done 75% of them. What is up with that? Yeah, no more Christmas crowds, but I guess I'll just sit back and watch the scrambling and pretend I don't wish I was part of it. On another note, I LOVE the presents (this and this) I got for John and I hope he loves them too!

So, there really are animals in my attic and walls. They wake me up each morning by scratching the walls behind my headboard. Our house if falling apart so much that animals are crawling in through the exterior holes. This weekend the scratching was so loud that I wanted to cry. How does this keep on happening to me?

So, the only boy in my life right now is John, my nephew. How. awesome. is. that.

So, I'm driving to Austin this weekend and we'll see how that goes, the driving part. I am really excited to see everyone I haven't seen in months. As of right now, however, I don't have a Halloween costume and I just might need one Friday. Any suggestions?

Oh, my trip to NJ/BOS/NYC wasn't very interesting so it's not worth discussing other than saying - TOO SHORT.

I plan on actually updating things, like archiving, soon enough. Once I can get myself up to it. I want to be happy and at this exact moment in time, I'm miserable. Okay.

I went to Six Flags today in Arlington and I think the last time I went was either during Holiday in the Park or for my twentieth birthday. (We were guessing about the twentieth birthday, I don't remember) I had mostly forgotten about the rides. Every single time I ride on the Titan, I'm super scared. The new (to me) Tony Hawk ride has cameras. So instead of purchasing a silly picture (who does that, really?), you can purchase a dvd of yourself and the person seated next to you of your entire ride experience. What an idea! that I'd never purchase.

Thursday I followed Nicole up to Irving to get our haircuts at this Korean place. It is a bit disappointing to know exactly what you want and having everything lost in translation. Hair grows reasonably fast, so it isn't a big deal about having a haircut I don't want. But if you see my bangs and think that they are crooked, it is not my fault and I refuse to make them even (for fear that they will just get shorter and shorter).

Living at home with your parents is difficult when you're terrible with temptation and all they do is eat poorly balanced meals. I'm trying to cut down on certain things. I'm annoyed at how chubz I'm getting. The thing is, I don't care what size my clothes are, I just want to fit in my clothes. What the hell, Natasha. Clothes I wore earlier this year are snug. Here's to fitting back into my clothes!

I've picked RockBand back up, said SCREW IT, let's play on that pedal that's about to snap in two! If you're really careful, come on over, let's play!

OH YEAH. There is definitely something living in my attic. The rodents will NEVER leave me alone. Neither will the people that walk through our lawn and tap on the windows.

Gosh, you know, I have been terribly busy and terribly lazy. Also, I've been reluctant to use my laptop because of last week's episodes of blue screening. Just now I had planned on inserting some images to the blog but instead had Photoshop crash on me twice. Laptop, please don't die on me!

In other news, baby girl was born! She is now about a week and a half old. I think she gets cuter everyday until she gets out of the semi-awkward newborn stage, as Nina puts it. I have been over at Nicole's place a lot lately, since she has a lot on her hands and because it is easy having my own car to drive.

Baby John got me sick for a day. We believe he caught something at the pediatrician's office, maybe from eating Cheerios off the floor. While trying to save money, I shared a tiny carton of orange juice with the kiddo and in turn caught whatever he had/has. I'm feeling much better now that the runny nose and sore throat have stopped but I'm not sure about baby. He's a big baby in comparison to Audrey (new baby). Pictures on Flickr.

Note to self - errands to run: post office (Nina, Issa), donate clothes, sell clothes, recycle newspaper.

It's been a while. I have a new bed frame, a new (unassembled) dresser and a new car. Fun times paying back money!

That's just about it, and Nina is back in Cambridge. I've been spending quite a bit of time with Nicole and John the past few times and tomorrow I'm going to go to Dallas and watch baby while Nicole goes to the doctor. He's still a cutie. New baby could be due anytime!

In eighty printed pages, written by four students, reviewed by many, I've completed my project, my last class, my summer, my undergraduate career. This feels pretty damn good.

Now, I can get back to Grand Prairie, get new bedroom furniture, paint the walls, and throw away a lot of shit.
Wednesday, here I come!

My way of throwing long bits and last tracks into one. Risky! I want to see how you'd make the long track list.

Thursday is my last day at the library and I AM SUPER SAD about it. I will miss everyone at engin, my second home.
