I just keep finding new bruises and I have no idea how I got them.

While Nina and I were on our way to play some fake-tennis, we put the radio on my recently discovered new favorite station (haha) 93.3 Quality Rock. I don't think I've listened to it for a couple of days and found out that the station has once again changed. Now it's a Top 40 station playing Kanye West and Natasha Beddingfield (like we heard this morning). I googled this on my phone and saw this article and thought it was kind of funny. My brother-in-law has been listening to Top 40 lately, maybe he can enjoy it. gross.

Nina go bye bye tomorrow. sadpandaface.

I was just reminded of the time that I went through a phase of tying my shoes really loose which somehow made me fall down a half flight of stairs running to class. I then decided to tie my shoes really tight and I still fell down that half flight of stairs. I remember wearing a pair of clear rubber-soled, patent leather heels and a fitted zipper dress in middle school and falling down the stairs to the cafeteria with my violin case in hand. Oh and of course there was that time that I fell up the stairs and slid Pete Townshend style on my way to work. I have a way with stairs.

It has been brought to my attention that it is no longer the year two-thousand and EIGHT. Thanks Josh!

I feel like I've been welcoming people into the city or sending them off. Greyhounds and airports. I love having visitors. Agnes was trying to convince me to go down to Houston next week/end but I kind of don't see it really feasible, but it'd be so fun to have kind of an ATX reunion but in H-town. ah well.

OH YEAH. HEY GUYS, PROJECT RUNWAY THIS THURSDAY, ON LIFETIME. WHO IS EXCITED? LET'S WATCH.

Last night or maybe this morning, I had some really awful dreams. I kind of woke up and made myself remember them even though they were horrible. Why did I do that to myself? It's kind of like how my mind periodically relives the worst moments of my life over and over again. At least dreams are dreams, they're not real.

Twenty-five things (for Issa and not FB)
1. I think I'm a really good mix of being girly and boyish.
2. I am equally close to both of my sisters even with the age differences.
3. My favorite color is red but all I wear lately are shades of grey.
4. It takes a lot to get me to like a female-fronted band.
5. Bob Dylan makes my ears bleed.
6. I take (adult) gummy vitamins because I can't get myself to swallow the big pills.
7. I currently own 30+ pairs of shoes but mostly just wear three of them.
8. I never thought you could have too many pairs of underwear, but I do.
9. Once in college I made the worst possible grade on a test and I didn't even cry.
10. I've cried while watching a romantic comedy, though.
11. All I want is to be sassy and spicy.
12. I threw my life plan out the window a couple of years ago.
13. I still regret not purchasing that perfect summer dress 4 summers ago.
14. Most of the clothes in my closet are too small.
15. Fifty degree weather is my favorite.
16. I wish I had better English skills.
17. (I've lost interest in this)

Where the fuck is my WIRED?

I'm going to Houston for a day-and-a-half this weekend and I'm really looking forward to catching up with Jessica (and hopefully Anh?). Family decided to take a mini vacation trip and volunteered me to drive (kind of). Hurray for that!

We have new house phones that audibly tell you who is calling. I tried it out and it said "CALL - FROM - SEEE-EW - NUHTAHSHUH. CALL - FROM - SEEE-EW - NUHTAHSHUH." Be creepy and call my house.

Looking through boxes of college stuff and multiple old journals and loose leaf pages leads to jackpot. I found this doodle-ish from 2005 and thought it was kind of cute.

And this list of top ten songs EVER (that I may have posted previously). I think each is still valid. Typical or not, in no particular order:
Under Pressure - Queen & David Bowie
Race for the Prize - The Flaming Lips
Wake Up - Arcade Fire
While My Guitar Gently Weeps - The Beatles
It's All Gonna Break - Broken Social Scene
Life On Mars - David Bowie
The Chain - Fleetwood Mac
Wish You Were Here - Pink Floyd
Chicago - Sufjan Stevens
Paranoid Android - Radiohead

Five next would've been Crown of Love, Hyperballad, All is Full of Love, You are the Light and I'll Believe in Anything, but Nina had a strict ten rule.

HEY THREE READERS. I've been [not that] busy but am [way too] lazy to actually update this. Nina visits this daily waiting for my next words and you know what? So do I. Whatevs. I'm busy having good weekends hanging with my bf, my sisters and the little behbehs. All I've been listening to the past three days is Why?'s Alopecia from 2008. I forgot about that band for a while.

Update on the car scratch - we tried touching up half of the scratch with some paint and it's still noticeable. Too deep, too deep.

HAPPY [EARLY] BIRTHDAY, NINA!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMERICA!

Yesterday, I discovered that someone keyed my car, my not-even-a-year-old car. There's a line that stretches from the front to the back of the passenger's side of the car. So, I'm a bit disturbed about having to realize that people like this do exist, people that will destroy other's property just because they can. I thought to myself, maybe it was something I did, maybe someone had it out for me in particular. But if that was the case, I'm sure the damage would be worse, and I have no idea what I could've done. Some people are just dumb.

What makes it worse, I'm pretty sure this happened while parked on my own driveway behind the house. I'm really starting to dislike where we live, but what can you do?

Nina's ass remark of the day:
natasha - "I h8 these bags under my eyes"
nina - "i h8 your eyes"

BTW, I'm having link/browser issues.
